A night stroll in the city is a must when staying in Cattolica. After a day at the beach, put down your flip-flops and let yourself be fascinated by a walk around the downtown Shops and Gardens.
At the Harbour with its lights and many different eating options, you can choose whatever suits you. Why not make a quick jog enjoying the suggestive moonlight on the sea, and then reward yourself with a good ice cream or a piadina? After that, hop on an electric bumper car for a speed race, cross the canal on board of the Caronte Ferry-Boat and ride the Panoramic Wheel to admire the Harbour from above.
Looking for a souvenir? On Sunday, the street market’s stands will give you plenty of ideas to choose from. Otherwise, search for the “Emporio del Mare” Boat, among the Docked Fishing Vessels: its colourful knick-knacks and blinking trinkets will catch your eye for sure.
To conclude the evening with a treat, taste a typical warm bombolone (a cream filled doughnut), served everyday after 8pm.
From the “Piazza del Tramonto” take the waterfront and discover its many
Restaurants and Cafés on the Beach, playgrounds for Children, street Markets, reach “Giardini de Amicis” & Piazza I Maggio. A picture is due in front of the beautiful Fontaine named “Le Fontane delle Sirene”. While you are there, be entertained by the music of the Dancing Fountains Show.
Finally, explore the Shopping Streets of the City Centre: take a walk among the Boutiques and Shops from Viale Bovio to Via Mancini, while enjoying the street performers, Art Expositions, Antique Markets and Flee Markets. Make a turn in Viale Matteotti & Via Curiel, take a look at the Shops and the Crafts Markets, end your stroll along the lights, Bars, Arcades and many Stores of Via Dante.
