A trio of comedy aces: Giacobazzi, Cevoli and Pizzocchi arrive in the Arena della Regina in Cattolica!On 24th July, the Emilia-Romagna comic trio par excellence, doubles their dates in Romagna and chooses Cattolica as their second date, after the one-week sold-out date in Cervia!

For the first time together on stage, Cevoli and Giacobazzi, two ambassadors of Romagna comedy, will stage a show made up of their warhorses, interaction and moments of authentic improvisation, aided by the all-Emilian comedy of Duilio Pizzocchi, friend, author and mentor of the first two.

Paolo Cevoli, a native of Riccione and from Romagna, became famous thanks to Zelig. He became particularly well-known as Palmiro Cangini, the councillor of an imaginary Romagna municipality, with whom he won over the public. In the following decade, he was one of the show’s fixed faces. In the meantime he also devoted himself to other projects, making his debut as an actor in Carlo Vanzina’s film 2061 “Un anno eccezionale” and starring in many theatrical performances that he took on tour on various stages around Italy.

Giuseppe Giacobazzi, class of ’63, from Alfonsine, also from Romagna, went from success on Zelig to a career as an actor in the cinema. From 2006 to 2011 he was a regular star on Zelig. In 2011 he made his debut as an actor starring in the film “Baciato dalla fortuna” alongside big stars such as Alessandro Gassmann and Vincenzo Salemme. In the same year, he also starred in Neri Parenti’s cinepanettone Vacanze di Natale a Cortina. In 2012 he was in the comedy All’ultima spiaggia. In the following years the comedian starred in various films such as Regalo a sorpresa, Un Natale al Sud, Buon lavoro and Tutto liscio. In 2020 he had a small role in the Netflix series Summertime. After this long interlude in which Giuseppe Giacobazzi devotes himself mainly to acting, he returns to cabaret in 2021.

Duilio Pizzocchi, a.k.a. Maurizio Pagliari, was born in Bologna in 1957. Since childhood has shown a propensity for jokes, pranks and all forms of entertainment. Duilio Pizzocchi, is one of his macchiettas, a Ferrarese painter who lives in a world of jokes.Comedian, actor, cabaret artist and author Maurizio often shares the stage with his fellow adventurer Giuseppe Giacobazzi.
