The Giro d’Italia a Vela stops off in Cattolica: the ‘Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026’ is coming
A major event in Cattolica from 4th to 9th June 2026: the Queen of the Adriatic will host the first, eagerly awaited stage of the ‘Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026’, the Giro d’Italia a Vela now in its sixth edition.
A top-level competitive sporting event with a strong institutional focus, organised by SSI Sports & Events, the Yacht Club La Maddalena A.S.D. and the Ministry of Defence (through Difesa Servizi S.p.A.), in collaboration with the Italian Navy and under the patronage of CONI.

Where and when:
The heart of the event in Cattolica will be the area around Via Antonini (harbour area) and the Circolo Nautico Cattolica.
1st June 2026: Start of the regatta village set-up.
4th – 9th June 2026: Official opening of the regatta village to the public and sporting activities.
The touring event, which will traverse the seas and coasts of Italy during May, June and July 2026 will offer a unique spectacle both on the water and on land, where enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike can soak up the atmosphere of these great sailing challenges.

The fleet’s journey along the Italian peninsula will feature 8 spectacular stops from Venice to Genoa. Here is the full schedule for the 2026 tour:
Departure – VENICE (VE): From 26th May to 4th June, at the Italian Navy’s Arsenale.
CATTOLICA (RN): 4th – 9th June (set-up from 1 June), Via Antonini and Circolo Nautico Cattolica.
VIESTE (FG): 9th – 14th June, MMNRT Village in Viale Marinai d’Italia and Beneteau FIGARO 3 boats at Pier 54 (Gargano Sailing Club).
TARANTO (TA): 14th – 19th June, Corso Due Mari and Italian Naval League, Taranto Branch.
SIRACUSA (SR): 19th – 24th June, Molo Zanagora (Foro Emanuele I) and the Italian Naval League, Syracuse Branch.
TROPEA (VV): 24th – 29 June, Via Lungomare (beneath the picturesque Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell’Isola) and the Italian Naval League, Tropea Branch.
NAPLES (NA): 29th June–4th July, Via Francesco Caracciolo (Rotonda Diaz) and the Italian Naval League, Naples Branch.
PORTOFERRAIO (LI): 4th – 9th July, Porto Vecchio (Calata Buccari) and the Portoferraio branch of the Italian Naval League.
GENOA (GE): 9th – 12th July, Porto Antico (Calata Mandraccio) at the Italian Yacht Club.
