Dominate The Water – An international open water swimming competition that combines healthy sporting competition with environmental protection and conservation, created by the Olympic champion Gregorio Paltrinieri.

The creator and face of Dominate The Water is Gregorio Paltrinieri, one of the most representative athletes in Italian sport. After winning everything, he was able to get back in the game and compete at sea, continuing to win as he did in the pool.

Registration can be done:

1. on the website www.dominatethewater.com, by filling in all the required information on the form and accepting all the conditions requested therein, including the DTW Regulations, and attaching the signed declarations where required.

2. on the FIN Federal portal: to be requested from your sports club. N.B. FIN 2024/25 membership is required. The Italian Swimming Federation’s open water swimming regulations apply. On the day of the event, when collecting their race pack, all participants must show their original or digital membership card. The race is included in and awards points for the Italian Swimming Federation’s GranPrix2025.
