The Bademaisters in concert in Cattolica

On the occasion of the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix https://www.misanocircuit.com/calendario-eventi/gp-san-marino-e-riviera-di-rimini/ among the side events not to be missed in Cattolica the concert of THE BADEMAISTERS!

An evening of live music full of unique emotions and vibrations! The event will take place in Piazzetta Belvedere in Cattolica, starting at 9 pm.

The group THE BADEMAISTERS is formed by Matteo Cammarata, Andrea Baldinini and Gabriele Quieti.

Matteo, after having written several songs in Germany, where he lived for a few months, returns to Cattolica and wants to bring his new works live. He initially thought of being a soloist but then saw an advertisement for a band competition in Gabicce, so he proposed to his childhood friend Andrea to give him a hand.

The two sign up as ‘The Bademaister(S)’, a mispronunciation of ‘lifeguard’ in German, a profession they both performed in the past. The correct term would be ‘Bademeister’, but to make fun of the fact that Matteo did not learn German and only spoke English in Giessen, the term is mispronounced and ‘Englishised’.

Even the ‘S’ is a mispronunciation to indicate the English plural and, placed inside a lifebelt, becomes the band’s logo.

For the first concert they will appear dressed as lifeguards braving the cold: red jersey, swimming costume, flip-flops, sunglasses and straw hat. This look will be the trademark of their concerts.
